Closing the grazing boundary

We extended the chain-link boundary around the grazing ground. Two people lifted the mesh against the existing posts and fastened it a short section at a time.

The line crosses vegetation and uneven soil, so the lower edge needed attention wherever the ground changed. We worked the wire close to the soil and continued along the posts as each section stood securely.

By the end of the sequence, goats were browsing behind the new line. The fence gives us more control over where the herd moves and makes the maintenance points along the boundary easier to identify.

We will keep checking how the mesh holds, where it needs repair and how the enclosed ground responds as the goats use it.
